H.P. Lovecraft's tales of the tentacled Elder God Cthulhu and his pantheon of alien deities were initially written for the pulp magazines of the 1920s and '30s. This handsome tome collects together the very best of Lovecraft's tales of terror, including the complete Cthulhu Mythos cycle, just the way they were originally published. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wasn't In Love With It So I know that this collection is a book filled with great short stories but I wasn't in love with it. I found that some of the stories couldn't keep my attention and my mind wandered. Also, The Lurking Fear, had a few spelling mistakes and I immediately get turned off of something that has spelling mistakes. I know this is supposed to be a must read for horror fans but it didn't draw me in.
