about

Nicola always gets what she wants.

Nicola Sparks, sixteen and an orphan, is ready to dive headlong into her first glittering London society season. She's also ready to dive headlong into the arms of handsome and debonair Lord Sebastian Bartholomew. Nicola's dream is a proposal from the viscount—a dream she's about to realize at last! So naturally, Nathaniel Sheridan's insinuations about her fiancé's flawed character annoy her mightily.

But when Nicola's natural curiosity gets the best of her, she begins to piece together a few things for herself. To her great surprise, Nicola realizes she's had the wrong viscount all along . . . but is it too late to make things right?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cute story Love Meg Cabot's books and this was different when I first read them as they took place in the earlier centuries. Great read, great adventure

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Meg does it again After reading The Princess Diaries, Queen of Babble, All-American Girl, Teen Idol and other such books, I thought there was nothing more that Meg Cabot could possibly cook up. However, she proved me wrong by setting this fabulous book in England in the 1800's. This just makes the problems that teens have universal and further enhances her work. I enjoyed this book and recommend it to all the teenagers out there.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from fun page-turner The begining was a bit dull, but by the third chapter I was so into it, I loved it! The end was just the best- I won't give it away! I really do recomend this book to anyone who is on the mood for a fun romance novel and a great adventure. The novel is also historical, which makes it a literary masterpeice! I felt like I was in the past- like I could change time in a way. it was beautifully written and I do recomened it to those who want to have fun reading! Well enjoy!
