Rare bands in the rock history have had a more direct and touchable influence on their current pop musical scenery than Nirvana did in the early Nineties. When the Seattle trio hit the sight in 1991, mainstream radio was overflowing in the hair metal of Poison and Def Leppard.

But apparently within hours of the announcement of Nirvana's anarchic, angry single "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and its warped anti-pep-rally video: the rules had changed. Pretense was lessened; pure, raw feeling was ruler.

With time the bands setup changed but the name “Nirvana” is on its fame. They have created some great songs those are sung by the followers yet. Till today the “Nirvana” is an icon for the new rockers. They become inspired by Nirvana’s song, composition and lyrics.
