Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Well written and great series of stories leading up to Osama's undoing. I found it to be a great read.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good book No one can ever really truley appreciate what these men do for us, unless they have someway or another; experianced what they have experianced. This book walks you through what these men went through as they took down the man behind 9-11.It also shows truth of what happened, not what the media said happened. Modern day media, they make up stories based on a rumor and display it as a fact for millions of impressionable people to see and instantly believe. I am glad this book was written so people can know what actually happened, and it was very well written. Thank you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from :-) Great read. Nice to read about the teams and how they work together.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from :-) a detailed account about the mission which breaks all conspiracies about how osama bin laden was killed. after reading this book, instead of being interested in the entire bin laden mission i was more amaze by what actually were the navy seals and what was their training like. This book became more like a navy seal tell it all kind of biography which involved a mission call capturing osama bin larden. If you somehow didn't like reading about warfare, guns and more high tech equipments that the navy seals used it probably would be better to just watch the movie "Zero Dark Thirty" but i enjoyed both.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent It's always great reading a first hand account, especially from someone with a great deal of integrity. Even if only half of what is in this book was true (and I believe it's a lot higher than that) it would still be an incredible read. So much respect for these guys that do what so many of us can't even imagine. Thanks to them, we can sit on in our easy chairs, scotch in hand and read about what greater men than us have done. Thank you Mr. "Owen" and thanks to all the brave men and women that protect us every day.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from No easy day Not a bad book. The author's style leaves a bit to be desired but for a guy who has spent the last 11 years killing people and has no experience writing I think he did an okay job. Its my understanding that the author was quite limited in what he could disclose and that def shows. Its too bad we will never get the whole story behind this thing. With that said, if you are wanting to learn more about these events or want a quick and fun read you'll enjoy this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Exciting. Couldn't put it down. Nice intro to the life as a SEAL. Full of pride but not proud or boastful. This is not a story about killing Osama, but life of a SEAL member who happen to be at the right place at the right time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than Hollywood. Very well written account of the Navy SEALS and the take down of Osama bin Laden without the media spin. These guys actually do things young men dream of doing. Could hardly put the book down.

About the Author

Mark Owen is the pseudonym of a former member of the United States Naval Special Warfare Development Group (DEVGRU) who participated in the mission that resulted in the death of Osama bin Laden. His book No Easy Day is a military memoir that details Owen's career with DEVGRU, including several combat missions in which he participated with the unit. At least half of the book focuses on Owen's participation in the mission that killed bin Laden. Shortly after the book's announcement, Owen's identity was revealed as Matt Bissonnette; the Department of Defense confirmed that he was the author. For media appearances, including an interview on 60 Minutes, Owen appeared incognito. On September 13, 2012, No Easy Day replaced Fifty Shades of Grey atop USA Today's bestselling books list. Dutton Penguin stated that the book's print run for its first week of sales was up to 1 million copies, not counting e-books. In May 2014, No Easy Day made The New York Times Best Seller List.
