Rated 4 out of 5 by from Improve Yourself the Golf way I received a copy of this book as part of a Goodreads Giveaway contest. We all want to improve ourselves. There are many books out there on that subject. If you are going to publish a book, you need to have a new twist on an old idea. When I first got this book, I thought it was to improve my golf game. I haven't been on a course in several years now. Maybe this was a sign I needed to get out golfing again. This was not a book about improving my golf game, but rather, improving myself. The author took the game of golf and used to help us develop a plan to improve ourselves. Not only from a mental point of view but physical as well. This makes perfect sense as we need both to have a better life. The author divided her book into 18 chapters, like a course. There was a nineteenth chapter that wrapped it all up, just like a real golf game. I thought this concept of using golf was clever and would allow many people to relate. I cannot say that anything, outside of using golf as a metaphor for improvement, there anything new in this book. It talked about naking a plan for improvemnt, exercising and eating better. It was just presented better and easier to read. This book was an easy read. I was able to get through it fairly quickly. I would recommend the book.
