Rated 4 out of 5 by from Interesting! I love, love, love, Green Day and really enjoy this book. It's really interesting to learn about their background and how they became world wide stars against all odds. Some parts are boring, and I had to skip more than a few pages, but that's because I found there is a lot of stuff about other people included, that could have been cut down. I bought the book to learn about Green Day, so I think the stuff about other people should have been less.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An amazing biography of an amazing band This book is really great. He interviewed members of their families and their close friends. EVEN ex girlfriends from way back and members of bands that they knew back in the Gilman days. It's very well written. It takes a long time to finish, but it's totally worth it! A must have for all Green Day fans. He mentions facts and stories about things that the band have gone through that even the hardcore fans had no idea about. It's pretty deep.
