**Nora Roberts gave her blessing for the use of her name in both the title and the premise in this suspenseful and emotional contemporary romance.**

Millions of readers have fallen in love with Ava's bestselling books...come join the family.

International Bestselling Author Ava Miles presents the #1 National Bestseller NORA ROBERTS LAND about a woman’s quest to find her happily ever after, Nora Roberts style. Selected as one of the Best Books of the Year (USA Today).

Journalist Meredith Hale's ex-husband claimed her Nora Roberts addiction gave her unrealistic expectations about marriage, and she believed him. All dreams of happily ever after—or Nora Roberts Land as her mother calls it—went up in smoke. But when her family asks her to temporarily help their Dare Valley, Colorado newspaper, she decides it’s time to change her life and prove her ex wrong. She's determined to find her own small-town Nora Roberts hero, prove that true love exists, and publish a story about her quest.

War correspondent Tanner McBride has just returned stateside to work for a major newspaper, and the last thing he expects is blackmail. Yet, before he can even unpack, he’s headed to Colorado. His assignment? Make his boss’s ex-wife fall for him and then break her heart. Her article about discovering love à la Nora might air dirty laundry about her marriage to the media mogul, threatening his senate run. The mogul wants Meredith stopped, and he makes sure Tanner has no choice in the matter.

When the two meet, the sparks between them are undeniable. Meredith, who vowed never to date another journalist, begins to succumb. Could Tanner be her Nora Roberts hero? As they work together to uncover the truth behind a suspicious death, the depth of their feelings unfolds and both realize they've kept their secrets for far too long. But before the truth can be revealed, their investigation takes a deadly turn, one that might make Meredith's personal Nora Roberts Land go up in flames.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So happily surprised by this one! I ended up reading "French Roast" before this one accidentally, as at the time I had no idea it was part of a series, and I honestly didn't care for it. I felt like both the main characters acted completely juvenile and I didn't feel any of the chemistry between them. However, when I saw this first book in the series was free on Kobo, I decided to go ahead and give it a try, and wow am I ever glad I did! The mystery element was perfectly woven throughout, the romance was spicy and the whole sparks flying never wanna put the book down type, and the comedic parts had me laughing out loud. I also loved the meaning of the title "Nora Roberts Land" as how many of us booklovers love the chance to escape into the "land" of our favorite authors. This book was a win win in my eyes, and made the list of my favorite books that I finished in 2016.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New fave author Got this one as a freebie months ago and kept passing it by in my library in favour of my known authors. Boy, wish I had left tried it sooner! What a surprise. Very much like Nora Roberts contemporary style and as addictive as Fool's Gold, Sapphire Falls and Gansett Island. Will now be looking for the rest of the series for sure!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but dragged on This book taught me that I like faster paced novels. It really felt so slow at times and by the end of the book I started skipping and skimming parts just to finish the book. But overall it was good. I liked it. Not sure if I'd read more from this author though.
