It helps children to explore how to play with simple, everyday items using their imagination. In today’s consumer culture, where toys all seem to be derived from movies and have specific roles in mind, this book is a breath of fresh air.

The character in this story uses dramatic play to show many different things that a stick can be. After reading it, the children will be inspired to find sticks to decorate and play with. WARNING: Do not read this story if you do not wish your children to play with sticks. The sticks will be even more irresistible than they already are!
