about

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Another book I've just completed in the last 24hrs by Joy Fielding, exceptional, loved the characters, the twists and turns. I actually felt the frustrations and pain Chris was subjected to. It was a very entertaining read. Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent! This book was absolutely excellent. It was so good that it was extremely difficult to put down. I loved the way that Joy Fielding has divided the four characters of the book into the four sections of the book and in this way keeps the reader from getting too confused. I always love novels by Joy Fielding, but this one was one of her better reads.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grand Avenue I really, really enjoyed reading this book, which was the first of Joy's books that I have read. I was reading late into the night to finish and was sad to finish it. The story grabbed me from the start and I would highly recommend it. Joy Fielding's writing reminds me of Belva Plain's novels which I also enjoy. Happy reading!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grand Avenue This was the first novel by Joy Fielding that I've read. A masterpiece! I enjoy reading romance, mystery, suspense; books that touch on real-life situations and emotions. Grand Avenue combines it all into a must-read. I couldn't put it down - what happens in Vickie's high-profile life; Barbara's perfect world; Susan; and of course, who could forget Chris... At some point in this novel someone can relate to the events/emotions in these women's lives. I read Grand Avenue in less than a week during my vacation and found myself reviewing some chapters, asking myself, how could I have missed the signs? Glad I wasn't on the jury...
