Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Vacation Read I have enjoyed Dawn French's humour for years. She is a great observer of life and how we interact (or don't) with each other. Oh Dear Sylvia will make you stop and think not only about your external and acknowledged relationships but also the many relationships we take for granted. I found this book funny and touching - nothing too deep but sometimes we just need a good, comfortable read with a cup of tea and biscuits.
