A peasant had a dog called Old Sultan. It was a god dog, but it became old and had lost its teeth. One day the man wanted to shoot his dog. Old Sultan heard it and went to his friend the wolf. The wolf gave the dog an advice. When the peasant would go to the field, he would take his little child with him. The dog should lie down near the child, and look after him. Then the wolf would come and catch the child. The dog should run after and the wolf would let the child go. The peasant would think the dog had saved the child, and would let Old Sultan live.
