Rated 3 out of 5 by from very educational Educational and the images have a meaning behind them. Not my favorite book and my kids didn't have much interest in it. Neither did the story or the images catch their attention.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great gift for a childs birthday or to new parents A beautifully written celebration of the day a new baby enters the world. I gave this book to my son for his first birthday, and would highly recommend it for any parent to give to his or her child. This book offers a reminder of what a blessing our children really are.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Beautiful Book! A Great Gift! The beautiful words and wonderful illustrations work together in this book to celebrate the anticipation, excitement and miracle of birth! I have given this book to friends who have become new parents. They frequently remark how special this book is since it always reminds them of the day their children were born (and it has moved them to tears as well). I am not a parent (yet) but it brings tears to my eyes everytime I read it to my second grade class. I use it to remind my students how special they are and how the day of their birth was a gift to all of us.
