Rated 5 out of 5 by from A+++ I am a great lover of fairy tales and these stories left me completly satisfied. A great collection with a mix of modern and ancient and mideval. I will say though the vampire story is by far the weakest of the bunch. Shame, I love vampire stories.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from mostly fascinating Very fascinating elaborations on fairytale motives. The last one is at once captivating but also a bit boring (at the end) both because of its repeating motives in its story-in-story structure. I'm not fond of added previews, I prefer my readings to be ad-free.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Modern fairytales - with a twist Modern fairytales for grown up girls. The name pretty much sums it up - curses galore. These are not your traditional stories you're going to tell your children. More like the original stories.
