Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Book! Pictures are beautifully created out of Plasticine. The book itself is a work of art. There's many elements to this book. 1) Beautiful pictures , lively illustrations 2) Great for beginner readers - one gray mouse in a black mouse house. ... Lots of rhyming words. 3) introduces colours, 4) introduces number and counting 5) interactive -- look for the mouse hiding in each page. Terrific book. Definitely recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Book! This is a delightful book with wonderful pictures and many levels to it. On one level, it counts to ten and uses various colours, with a simple rhyming text. But see how long it takes your child to find the patterns in the colours from one page to the next. Or to discover where the mouse is on each page. There is even more to this book - but discover it for yourself. My daughter has had this book for 3 years and I plan to buy it for her kindergarten class.

Editorial Reviews

The inventive, amusingly plastic-like illustrations of the rhyming counting book, One Grey Mouse by Katherine Burton, are made with brightly colored clay. The scenes are increasingly action packed from the bouncing curls of ?Five pink pigs....? to the flying feathers of ?Nine white ducks in a red duck truck.?-Publisher's Weekly
