The instant number one bestseller

The final chapter in the global blockbuster Crossfire quintet

Gideon Cross. Falling in love with him was the easiest thing I've ever done. It happened instantly. Completely. Irrevocably.

Marrying him was a dream come true. Staying married to him is the fight of my life. Love transforms. Ours is both a refuge from the storm and the most violent of tempests. Two damaged souls entwined as one.

We have bared our deepest, ugliest secrets to one another. Gideon is the mirror that reflects all my flaws . and all the beauty I couldn't see. He has given me everything. Now, I must prove I can be the rock, the shelter for him that he is for me. Together, we could stand against those who work so viciously to come between us.

But our greatest battle may lie within the very vows that give us strength. Committing to love was only the beginning. Fighting for it will either set us free ... or break us apart.

Heartbreakingly and seductively poignant, One with You is the breathlessly awaited finale to the Crossfire saga, the searing love story that has captivated millions of readers worldwide.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I expected more I expected more from Sylvia Day. I loved first two books of the series but then I think the story kept dragging. This could have wrapped up in three books.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from After a great series....Day ends with THIS? The only reason I gave this 2 stars was because after investing so much time reading about these characters, I felt really connected to the story before it ended. The conclusion in this series was awful though. It's like they tried to give the reader the most obvious and overplayed ending possible. Very disappointing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointing Ending This was a disappointing end to a great series. There was so much wait and build up to this book and then it went in a strange direction. I was pretty disappointed. #plumreview

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great book but so many unanswered questions. I loved every book in this series, Gideon and Eva's love story is amazing. The only problem is there are so many unanswered questions about other side characters and happenings in this book. I would recommend this to a friend for sure though.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Will there be more? As a fan of the Crossfire series, I loved this one as much if not more than the previous in the series. At first when beginning the novel as it had been quite a while since I read the previous novel, I was a little lost at where the storyline was at. I didn't find that this book quickly summarized or did a brief recap of the prior novel and instead dove right in. I understand why it can seem repetitive to recap or repeat what has happened in the last novel, but sometimes I feel like it can be helpful as there can be so many other novels read in between when the next book is published. The minor opinion aside, I really loved this novel and the conclusion of the Eva and Gideon storyline. The characters were as unique, intriguing, and sexy as ever. There was even a couple of shocking things revealed as well as something I never saw happening beforehand. However, I think it was written well and seemed to fit in with the story. Overall, a good read and those who have liked the Crossfire series hopefully will like the conclusion as much as I did. It was lengthy for the series but surprisingly, I found myself speed through it as I could barely put it down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I loved every minute of it! I read all five books from the Crossfire series. This was a great ending to a beautiful story.I fell in love with the characters Eva and Gideon! It starts out as lust but their story with definitely worth the read. I loved it so much I read it twice :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVED THIS. This book was so much more than I expected it to be, so many things happened that I didn't see coming. I liked Gideon a lot more in this book than in the previous book. He has really grown more open with Eva and really changed for himself, Eva, and their relationship. Their love and bond truly is so strong and full of beautiful, sweet, and sexy passion. I loved the humorous moments that balanced out the drama and chaos, but overall this book was a fabulously perfect and beautiful conclusion to the Crossfire series!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from too many questions I waited to read this books for months and yes it had some good stories and lots but there was so many unanswered questions and I'm bit disappointed with that. I think she needs to write another book in this series to answer some of the questions we have.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Instant Hit Another great read! I agree with some of the other review; there should be some novellas to cover all the loose ends. They ended it on a happy note but still left unanswered questions. Regardless, great end to a great series

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love this series but kind of disappointed... I love this series, I have the other 4 books and I was one of the readers who bought this the day it came out (Ibook & actual book), however after reading this I was disappointed. I believe that the last book should wrap up everything, however this book just brought out more drama/confusion for me. It seems like Sylvia knew that she had a group of obsessed readers who would buy this no matter what and didn't put too much effort or thought into this. After this book, I didn't feel finished or closure, I felt more confused and frustrated because she left so many blanks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Painful read :/ Sadly this series was a huge let down for me. The first was okay but it went down from there. Really too bad, I had high hopes for it, but it seemed to pull a lot of stuff from Fifty Shades which was a disappointment. It's just a dirtier more explicit version of it with little character growth and a lot of secret keeping that was beyond redundant. I do not recommend it at all. If you want to read it, read the first three and stop.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of time Book 4 was bad enough in not moving the plot but book 5 was even worse. It was just a regurgitation of bad writing. I wonder that it took this long to release.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disapointed - Sylivia Day left us Hanging I waited and waited for this book... When I got it, I read it in 2 days,,, only to be left with unanswered questions and disappointment. It was fantastic to read about the love between Gideon and Eva but Sylvia just left me (us the readers) hanging. The first 3 books are fantastic, the 4th is mostly a filler book... the 5th book you would expect to have closer and answers to many questions especially the issues with Gideon's mom and his brother.. NONE!!! Would I recommend it... maybe because I love the love between Eva and Gideon... but other than that, the story lacked finality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 3.75 stars--too many unanswered questions 3.75 stars--ONE WITH YOU is the fifth and final installment in Sylvia Day’s contemporary adult CROSSFIRE erotic, romance series focusing on Gideon Cross, and Eva Trammell-Cross. ONE WITH YOU should not be read as a stand alone as some of the events of the story line have been building throughout the series. Told from dual first person perspectives (Eva and Gideon) ONE WITH YOU begins immediately upon the events of book four (Captivated by You) and focuses on the preparations for Eva and Gideon’s upcoming nuptials-a second ceremony for family and friends- and a marriage that will hopefully keep the beasts and darkness at bay. What ensues is a series of events and revelations that neither the reader nor the characters ever saw coming. ONE WITH YOU is the culmination of five books, and a timeline that covers but three months that saw two damaged and broken people, fall in love with one another while fending off attacks of self doubt, insecurity, jealousy, and threats from outside and within. The characters grew as individuals, as a couple, and recognized that giving control to someone else is never easy but a necessary part of growing up and being in a committed relationship …but…they still have issues of trust that inevitably brought about more anxious moments and emotional breakdowns. Eva and Gideon’s strengths and weaknesses are subjected to tests time and time again. Some previous issues and premise scenarios have been addressed while many questions have been left unanswered; and a number of new controversies, problems and contentious events from the present and the past have presented with great fanfare yet with very little resolution or closure. There are a number of dream sequences where fantasy meets reality; where Eva and Gideon addressed the ghosts in their lives; and plenty of psychological and emotional assessment via couple’s therapist Dr. Peterson as it pertains to Eva and Gideon-individually and as a couple. There is a bit of a red herring regarding Eva’s mother’s back story that seems to come out of left field- its purpose to the main story line is confusing and a bit of a non-sequitur that left me with more questions than answers. Sylvia Day brings Eva and Gideon’s love story to an end with a happily ever after-for now. There are a number of loose ends and unanswered questions regarding secondary and supporting characters that need to be or should have been addressed especially the ‘new’ revelations and subsequent events regarding certain family members on both sides of the aisle–perhaps a novella or two wrapping up their stories could be on Sylvia’s upcoming agenda. ONE WITH YOU and the Crossfire Series is a roller coaster of emotions; the ups and downs of a relationship between two people whose emotional health and happiness is tied to one another; whose profound need to be loved and accepted is intense and unbalanced; where the romance is passionate and provocative; where the $ex is erotic and intoxicating. Sylvia Day’s CROSSFIRE SERIES is a fantastic read; a wonderful series for lovers of broken heroes and the women in their lives.

Editorial Reviews

"Day's fifth Crossfire novel brings the story of Gideon and Eva to a satisfying conclusion. Narrating their stories in alternating chapters, Eva and Gideon relate their explosive physical attraction, their appreciation of how they help each other heal old emotional wounds, and their ever-increasing mutual trust. Glamorous people, swanky settings, steamy sex, and passionate married love make this a heartwarming, gratifying conclusion to the series." - Publishers Weekly"Gideon and Eva's complicated relationship plays out with hurt, passion, obsession and most importantly, love. Day's writing is flawless and carries readers on the journey of these two broken characters toward each other and the all-consuming emotions that leap out of the book. A wonderful story written by a master storyteller!" - RT Book Reviews
