Editorial Reviews

I?m drawn to these poems with their tough diction, packed with the imagery of a life fully lived. Tom Brush is descended from Richard Hugo and Philip Levine, poets who celebrate the light of the sublime glinting through the sweat and mud of the ordinary. As much laughter as tears in this fine collection.
