Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great spooky book I absolutely adore this book! Great illustrations, really fun rhyming story. I have 2 kids who both adore it, and I really like reading it to them. I always enjoy reading poetry or rhyming stories to them, and this is a great one. The art is what really stands out though, just a wonderful bunch of drawings, they sort of remind me of books I read when I was a kid, but it's so frustrating that I can't really pin down exactly what specific books they remind me of. They just have that sort of feel of kids books from the 60's or 70's, you know? This book absolutely feels like it could be a kids classic one day. Anyway, I'd highly recommend this, especially if you are looking for a good spooky book maybe for Halloween or something. Not that it's strictly a Halloween book, but it's definitely fun and spooky, lots of cool creatures and monsters in it.
