Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very enjoyable I liked it. On kobo for iPad some words came in skewed and I had to make sense of it. The book itself though is an interesting portrayal of Cannings time coming into and through EMS. Very true to life events as there isn't much deviation at all from what really happens on calls. Overall I enjoyed reading it quite a bit and am very likely to pick up his next book as well.

Never before have i ever read a book as captivating and exciting as Paramedic: On The Frontlines Of Medicine. As soon as i started to read this book i felt that i was instantly in the back of the ambulance, watching paamedics save the lives of countless people. I just couldn't put it down! I plan on reading Peter Cannings next book Rescue 471. All i have to say is keep it up Peter Cannings, you are my idol.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from exciting and honest look into paramedics An exciting and very well written account of a paramedic's daily struggle on the job. Peter Canning does an excellent job of describing his experience and giving an honest look into a profession that deserves more respect and credit than it is given. The book was easy to read and on top of being a real page-turner, it was also very informative.

Editorial Reviews

Canning's "book is both a personal story and a vivid portrait of his profession, one that despite its importance is often taken for granted.... PARAMEDIC deepened my appreciation for the work paramedics do".
