With advice from educators, doctors, psychologists, and philosophers as well as wisdom from everyday parents, the book offers tips and insights on a variety of topics, from mixed marriages" to coping with death and loss, andfrom morality and ethics to dealing with holidays. Sensitive and timely, Parenting Beyond Belief features reflections from such freethinkers as Mark Twain, Richard Dawkins, Bertrand Russell, and wellness guru Dr. Don Ardell that will empower every parent to raise both caring and independent children without constraints. Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent This book is full of wonderful stories from other parents wishing to bring their children up as freethinkers. It is full of great ideas, great thinking and wonderful resources. It's so refreshing to hear about others that wish to refrain from the abuse that most of the planet has endured at the hands of their parents - the thoughtless dumping of their archaic beliefs, filling their children's heads with lies and fear instead of arming them with the tools they require to make the incredible opportunity they have been given at life the best that it can be. It's such a huge chance that we get a chance at life at all. Here is a taste of a way to help your child think for themselves and live their lives to the fullest instead of wasting it by "preparing" for an afterlife that will never come.
