Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy This This book will be out of print in a year, take the time to buy this book, learn it and play it. It is a Dungeons & Dragons clone based on D&D 3rd edition.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Game, Bad Binding I love the Pathfinder RPG. It's a slightly streamlined D&D 3.5. It's formatted exactly as if the D&D 3.5 PHB and DMG were bound together, down to the page order and layout. This is great for finding things, but the cover will eventually (usually within a year depending on use) fall off the hardcover version. The book is still usable, and the pages don't fall out just because the cover is gone, but it's much less attractive and is more easily damaged.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It'll Do Book is very detailed, to a point I think I must admit it can be over whelming for a new person starting into this system. Art work has a different look and feel to it, but overall well done. If your looking for a RPG to play I would suggest skipping this for new players, no matter what that one friend of yours says :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid RPG Far better than any D+D system to date. Graphics are a little WoW-style cartoony.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing I like how they have taken the 3.5 rules and tweaked them to make the game more interesting. I also loved the artwork in the book.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pathfinder RPG is D&D v3.5 perfected! For anyone who doesn't want to trade in all of their expensive D&D v3.5 books but is looking to take their campaigns in a new direction, the Pathfinder RPG system is what you want. Although completely compatible with your older D&D books, the rules are now simpler and more sensible. In this core rulebook that serves as both player's handbook and DM's guide, the original character races & classes have been expanded with many new options that makes the game more exciting to play.
