Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely Rhymes are easily memorized We have gone through this book 2 times now - it is so loved! The rhymes are very musical and little kids love to shout "peepo!" when they hear the pause. The book plays peek-a-boo and the fine detailed illustrations by Janet Ahlberg have plenty to look at and point out. A definite keeper.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from You may have to keep replacing this one! A rhythmic story to engage a baby's interest and a search and find book for toddlers. The Ahlbergs created the perfect baby book. The trouble is penguin has failed to publish the perfect edition. The board book is nice because the peek-a-boo hole doesn't get torn however the trim size is too small. The paperback is a better trim size because the details are not lost but it gets shredded. I dearly wish they would replace the two editions with an oversized board book! That would indeed make it perfection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for kids who have trouble speaking My three-year-old has been seeing a speech language pathologist for over a year now, since he struggles to put sounds together. I just got him this book the other day, and he LOVES it! I read the rest of the page, and when we get to the "Peepo!" on every other page, he's so excited that he knows it's coming up, that he doesn't mind working on saying it correctly. A great book for any kid, but this particular side of it has been great for us.
