Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect murder, perfect town I really enjoyed the book but I was disappointed in the ending. I think that the author should have waited and put in the grand juries results instead of leaving someone like myself who knew nothing of the case wondering what happened.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Perfect Bore I generally find true to life crime stories interesting, but this was just truly uninteresting. This book was more about the police investing the crime and their personal lives, than it was about JonBenet's death and her family. 800 dull pages later, I don't know any more about this terrible crime and who could have committed it, than I did before I started reading. However, I sure know all about the cops in Boulder City - WHO CARES!!! 400 pages would have been sufficient but probably still a bore!

Lawrence Schiller unearths the mystery surrounding young blonde beauty JonBenet`s shocking death. Perfect Murder Perfect Town is a detailed examination of this complicated case, based on updated information and recorded interviews with investigators, prosecutors, law enforcement officials, their confidantes and members of the Ramsey family. The book discusses a number of questions, including how the suspected Ramseys discovered key evidence and controlled the direction of police inquiry, the clues hidden in the ransom note, the possibility of an intruder killing JonBenet and what the Ramseys told police and the D.A. during more than 20 hours of questioning.

Editorial Reviews

"An encyclopedic reconstruction of the investigation." (International Herald Tribune)

Employee Review

JonBenet Ramsey was found dead in her family's home on the morning of December 26, 1996. The circumstances surrounding the murder are mysterious, and since there has been no arrest in the case, it is still ongoing. The book covers all the evidence, and reads like fiction because what has happened -- from press leaks to the was the evidence was contaminated -- is so unbelievable. A good, but sad read.
