Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fantastic! I read this book to a Grade 1 class last year as a student teacher and they absolutely loved it! It is funny, engaging and the illustrations are amazing- they could keep kids (and adults!) entertained for hours on end. The book tells the story of a little boy who takes home a class plant over the summer and the adventures he and his family experience as a result- all told in letters between the little boy, his parents and his teacher. I now include it on my list of books that I purchase for children of friends and family. But don't just take my word for it- go and read it yourself!
