Rated 3 out of 5 by from "An Interesting read!" Plastic Fantastic by Eugenie Samuel Reich was a very interesting book to read. The author uncovers how one of the greatest frauds in the science community managed to happen, and how it deceived some of the worlds top scientists. Reich is very thorough in describing and explaning the process in which Hendrick Schon went through in order to publish his fraudulent works. Although such detailing causes some chapters to become repetitive and dry, it helps to ensure that the reader fully understands the scientific process and terms used in the book. I reccommned this book to anyone who is interested in learning about the scientific publication process as Reich does a very good job describing it. I wouldn't reccommend the book to anyone who has trouble following chapters which are long and occasionally dry. Overall I think that Eugenie Reich did a very good job uncovering one of the biggest frauds of the decade in science.
