Denver Jones is a hotshot twentysomething attorney working in Los Angeles. Carolyn Henderson is a personal assistant to a powerful and very married senator in Washington with whom she is having an affair. And Annabelle Maestro-daughter of two movie stars-has carved out a career for herself in New York as the madame of choice for discerning famous men. The three of them went to high school together in Beverly Hills.

Then there is Bobby Santangelo Stanislopoulos, the Kennedyesque son of Lucky Santangelo and deceased Greek shipping billionaire, Dimitri Stanislopoulos. Bobby owns Mood, the hottest club in New York. Back in the day he went to high school with Denver, Carolyn, and Annabelle. He connected with all three of them and Annabelle's new cocaine-addicted boyfriend, Frankie, is his best friend.

When Annabelle's movie star mother is found shot to death in the bedroom of her Beverly Hills mansion, the five of them find themselves thrown together . . . and secrets from the past have a way of coming back to haunt everyone. . . .

A new, sexy, and explosive novel from perennial bestseller Jackie Collins.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too late to the story All these people have back stories I didn't know about, I had no clue this was part of a loose 'series'. It was not as stand alone as it should have been to be presented as a single read.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too late to the story I love Jackie Collins ..... Her books are always a good read, filled with all the right ingredients to make it a page turner

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too late to the story Each chapter follows a different character whose lives all somehow intertwine each other at some point during the story. That being said some of the characters, therefore some complete chapters, are boring and almost painful to read about. While the author could have written the entire novel about other characters, Denver and Bobby in particular.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too late to the story Meh. A little bit too much bouncing around. However, I do like how she tied everything up at the end.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Guilty Pleasure! I love Jackie Collins' books when I'm on the treadmill or just relaxing. She's such a great writer. I'm in love with the main character, Lucky Santangelo, and I'm glad she's back. She's such a tough lady. I read this book very quickly; it's an easy read. The sex scenes (very few of them) are not up to Jackie Collins' last books, but nonetheless, I loved this book.
