On the next, the Statue of Liberty comes to life and rampages down the coast to Washington. Anything is possible in The Shortest Story. The volume also contains 13 stories narrated by Cecil Baldwin (voice of Welcome to Night Vale) and guest stories from Robert Shearman, Helen Marshall, Shawn Coss, Sandra Kasturi, James Mark Miller, Sonya Ballantyne and Jordan Shiveley.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from quirky and playful, chock full of good humour This is a hilarious and creative concept, and I love the way that the author incorporated suggestions from his kickstarter backers as well as art and concepts from other well-known webcomic artists. This book is worth reading through quickly, but you can always leaf back through it to pick up the "bad idea" gems hidden in the background that you might have missed. It's quirky and honest and I really appreciate its playful view of the world. We're surrounded by potential for imaginative fun, and this book reminds us that sometimes the ordinary things really are the best. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go buy some bacon . . .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Search for Awesome End Here. Peter is a creative talented individual, and an even more uncanny ability to bring talented individuals together to create what can only be described as the book that you should bring with you everywhere for those moments where life may be dull. Though light hearted in nature- each bad idea has an underlying tone that can leave an impact, and make you have deep thoughts that you didn't know even existed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Book is a GOOD Idea This book is the 3rd greatest thing that has ever happened to me. The greatest was seeing Space Jam for the first time. The 2nd greatest was every time I have since reminisced about Space Jam

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Open to any page, start laughing Love how the ideas for the comics came as both crowd-sourced and crowd-funded on Kickstarter. This is the perfect coffee table book to keep on hand because you can open it to any page for a laugh. The level of talent required to draw so many comics over the years, then take so many new ideas and run with it is beyond what I expected. There are lots of guest artists you'll likely recognize, though honestly Peter's are my favourites. When I first got my copy, it was small enough to carry around in my purse, so I did that for a few days showing it to friends and coworkers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I was concerned about this book. Turns out that was a bad idea. As expected, Peter's comics are strong. My original fear was that when there are this many additional contributors, the overall quality can sometimes suffer. Fortunately, this is not the case. Nearly all the submissions are gems, and even the so-called weaker ones are definitely worth a chuckle. This is a brilliant concept, and the execution is just as strong. Everyone involved should be proud of themselves.
