Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretties I liked it alot because i thought that the author had really done a great job making tallys personaity pretty after being ugly, and it still sounded like the old tally even though there were some new aspect mentally and definetly physically.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't wait This series is captivating in its exploration of a society where physical beauty is no longer a marker of wealth and sucess. It helps young readers see beyond the shallow judgements that can be made about looks. They can begin to explore the things that really matter in society, like who is in charge and why.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Can't wait This was my favorite book of the series. It was more light hearted then the others and added humor when they were "bubbleheads". I also enjoyed the added romance factor, this part of the series had something for everyone. Their society was a bit strange and the way they refer to us as "rusties" was interesting. The author was not shy to show her opinions of what our society is doing wrong and offering some very creative ways to fix our "rusty" problems. Although I considered a light fun read it also made you think of the way our society is run and how it will evolve in the future.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I can't help it I feel like this book could of been something more... It has a great storyline the characters I enjoy, but I feel it has been dumbed down a lot. Not necessarily a bad thing but I don't feel it's great either. Would be a good introduction to dystopian novels which have become a recent favourite of mine.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from As Good as Uglies This was the sequel to the Uglies. It was a good read, very interesting and kept me wondering what would happen next. If you enjoyed the first book, you'll enjoy this one too. It was a bit distracting that they pulled another love triangle like all popular books of today! I think the love triangle scenario is getting a bit old; Hunger Games, Twilight, etc. But all in all, it was a good read and it defiantly makes me want to read the next book and find out what kind of trouble she can get herself into next.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It was OK This book was just OK for me and seemed to be more filler rather than something that added to the story/series. Maybe it will make sense when I continue reading the series?
