Rated 3 out of 5 by from An easy and sometimes thrilling read Much like most of the Crichton books I've read, this one is heavy on action and explanation and soft on character development. It was interesting to read this unique monster wreak havoc among a not-so-innocent bunch of scientists though, which made up for the paper thin characters.
