Rated 5 out of 5 by from amazing! This is written by a real shepherd. I learned so much about why God compares our relationship to that of a shepherd and his sheep. There are so many aspects of sheep that we don't know about unless we live with them. All the things he talks about describes our behavior towards God, and God's love and protection towards us. One small example is the fact that sheep are completely defenseless. They literally have no means of defending themselves, except running. Therefore, they are completely dependent on the shepherd, and when he is not around, they feel nervous and cannot grow healthily. It is an easy and engrossing read.
