This is probably one of the greatest, if not the greatest, health book written.  I like how D'Adamo points out that we're not all the same.  I am so sick and tired of these "it works for all" diet fads when we're all clearly not the same. What may work for you, may not work for me.  We should all accept that truth that we're not all the same. I also appreciate the natural remedies he mentions and the recipes he shares in this book. D'Adamo really captured Hippocrates' saying "let food be thy medicine and let thy medicine be food."

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really Great i just eliminated the poisonous foods for my blood type and i really feel very great when concern to my health . i can feel to have lots of energy . but i didnot lose weight . i think by avoiding the unwanted foods and start dieting and exercise in a very slow rate may work for me . But when concern to health , this book is very much recommened to all and thanxs to the author and co author for their works . i personally feel that this book is a gift for the public rather than the business for the author

I lost weight. I gained strength. I feel and act like I am 20 years younger.By eliminating those foods not good for my system, I have been able to walk further, sleep better, enjoy life to the fullest. The receipes inside are easy to prepare and taste great. This book is a must for anyone of any age that really wants to improve one's health without going on super diets or undertaking alot of exercise.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from An intresting and innovative read D'adamo is an author who put a lot into his research. The blood-type diet works for many but can also have no effect on others. If you have been struggling health problems and believe they are diet related- then this book is a great read. It is full of scientific information that comes from a good source and the research in it is very valuable. I recommend this book to any therapist who is widening their horizons in terms of nutrition. Definitely a must have in your clinic- it can only help better your client's overall health. All in all- buy it. It's worth it and cheap for the type of information you'll get out of it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Eat Right for Your Type Although I did find this Book an especially innovative approach to optimizing health, it raised as many questions as gave answers; though my own blood type is 'O', I relate minimally to the charactaristics of that blood type in every category covered in the book, whereas I seem to be a perfect match for the type 'B' characteristics in every way; this has led me to wonder whether there are any exceptions to the models presented, or could it be possible that an individual having inherited one blood type by recessive gene, leaving the other dormant, could experience activation of the latter through, for example, the process of auto-immune illness. I would be anxious to have the authors comment on such possibilities.

This book offers astounding facts concerning what does and doesn't agree with you blood type, along with practical explanations, information, and recipes. You will be surprised to find the many unhealthy symptoms that you have been struggling with are the cause of a biological disagreement. I encourage you to buy this book today.

I am not overweight but I have always seemed to have one upset stomach after another and often just felt tired and run down. The very day after I bought the book I began to feel better because I learned that people of my blood type can not easily digest wheat. What a difference that one little piece of information has made! I feel great now, every day; and have lots of energy. I am recommending this book to everyone I know. Read it, you will be amazed at the difference in your health!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This book changed my life! After being diagnosed with cancer at the age of 21 I was thrusted into a world of confusion and helplessness. No conventional doctor could give an explanation as to why or how I developed cervical cancer. This book was recommended to me by my naturopath and it has been a god-send. The authors of this book gave testimonies as well as medical explanations backing their theories of the blood-type diet. 5 pages into the book illnesses and symptoms of the past began to make sense. I'm overweight because I used to eat a lot of meat and my body can't properly digest it so it stored it. I also drank dairy products and my blood type produces an antigen for a property in milk, so it was like feeding my body infection. Since I started eating for my type I've felt energized and alive. It's like eating PURE fuel for my body. There's no snacking in between meals because my body had enough energy from my meal. This diet is a life change, not like modern day "diets" like Weight Watchers that never work. You'll feel the difference and never want to go back to eating poison.
