Reviews

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very Slow This story was not a very fast read! It was written very well and characters were great, but to call it horror might be a stretch. There are moments of horror, but overall it is a love story and coming of age. To some it might be dated, but I grew up in this era, and picked up all the references to my generation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rapturous An amazing book that is so enthralling that you genuinely feel as if you have known the characters all your life. Wonderfully suspenseful and chillingly scary, with enough erotic energy to power the whole East Coast. Brilliant!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Haunting A must read for anyone who flirts with their Gothic side. Brite brings to life characters so real, you miss them when you have to close the book. Totally absorbing, a real mind trip.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Drawing Blood Drawing Blood is an excellent book. Poppy Z. Brite goes into great detail about the killing that happens, which might disturb you a little because of the gore and detail. Some people might get offended reading this book, because it details a lot with homosexuality.
