She tells the truth about eating and living healthy. After reading through it, I just wanted to try so many of Meghan's recipes, as well as support this local author! I can't wait to receive my copy of this book!

Last year when I opened a Holistic Bed and Breakfast, I needed a ‘go to’ cook book that would provide awesome gluten free, dairy free options. For me that book was UnDiet: Eat Your Way to Vibrant Health, by Meghan Telpner. When you start a business from scratch you need the right ingredients. I needed recipes that were simple to make, could easily adapt to feed from fourteen to eighteen people and satisfy a global palette. Most of all, they had to be rock star delicious! I can't tell you how I depended on the recipes from Meghan’s first book. That book is worn out from being thrown open at 6am every morning. Those recipes brought me rave reviews for my breakfasts. I have been waiting for Meghan's second book The Undiet Cookbook for months and it doesn't disappoint. This book is filled with versatile recipes, gorgeous photography and a plethora of choice. Whether you are a newbie to the world of healthy eating or a veteran like me, you will want to have this book on your kitchen shelf. If you want to eat healthy food without compromising taste then you will love this book. One of the best things about Meghan Telpner is that she is committed to teaching us about living healthy lives. Both her books reflect her creed of healthy mind, body, planet. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surefire Winner Meghan Telpner has succeeded again with the latest The Undiet Cookbook. I have eagerly made several of her recipes since it's release 2 weeks ago. All have been delicious--the Dijon Dill Kale Chips, Sweet Potato Zucchini Hash Brizzles , the Jamu Juice to name a few. This book is brimming with loads of information, tips, links and more. A very impressive cookbook. You'll love her witty sense of humour all along the way.

It has the place of honour on my kitchen table. It is much more than a recipe book, although the recipes are well laid out, easy to follow and so delicious and full of inspiration. You can feel the love and the laughter that went into this book. It is about being a wonderful amazing healthy you. Whatever level you want to take your health to, you can do it with Meghan Telpner's UnDiet Cookbook.

This book is beautiful, both in the stunning pictures and in the well-thought-out recipes and corresponding tips and advice that it offers. All of the recipes are gluten and dairy free with a focus on plant-based eating and cooking from scratch. I also own Meghan's other book Undiet, which is more of the how-to and lifestyle behind the recipes in The Undiet Cookbook. Since reading Undiet, I have been waiting (not so patiently) for the cookbook to be released. Both books have become staples in my kitchen. My favourite recipes so far from this book include the "Flourless Ginger Pear Tart" (a major hit over Thanksgiving even with family who are not gluten-free) and "Un-Shepherd's Pie". I have many more that I can't wait to make.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A fabulous, family friendly, whole foods cookbook Meghan Telpner's Undiet Cookbook is one of the best cookbooks I have found in a very long time. It is a wonderful addition to our cookbook library, with stunning photography, delicious recipes and fabulous additional content. I cook a lot with my kids, and loved seeing how excited they got about all of the delicious choices, as we went through the book to put together our weekly meal plan. The book is a wonderful reference point for someone who might be new to the world of healthy, whole food cooking, but it is also a fabulous resource for people (like us!) who have been cooking like this for a while. I loved all of the additional tips and resources, as well as the Lifestyle section, complete with some great DIY recipes to help maintain a healthy lifestyle, inside and out. The entertaining section contains some fantastic meal plan ideas that I will be sure to reference the next time we host friends and family for dinner! While all of the recipes are fantastic, some highlights for us were the Ronsonian Pumpkin Soup, the TLT Deluxe Sandwich, the Sunflower Power Spread (the ultimate kid friendly snack, served on slices of cucumber!), the Feet on the Earth Indian Stew and the Dressed to the Nines Sweet Potato. The Decadent Drinks section is pretty fabulous too. Having so many wonderful and accessible recipes at our fingertips is such a treat, I know that this cookbook will be a frequent reference point for us both now and in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Colorful Inspiration to Make Healthy Lifestyle & Food Choices I love the creativity and energy with which Meghan helps people improve their lives. She healed her own health problems (Crohn's Disease), with dietary and lifestyle modifications, and has been free of symptoms ever since. After graduating from nutrition school, Meghan built her business, giving cooking classes while posting blogs and fun videos online. Her crowning achievement is her own online school, The Academy of Culinary Nutrition, which is a fantastic training ground for a whole food, plant strong diet. Meghan's new book is chock-full of awesome recipes that are packed with nutrition to help you look and feel your very best. There are even a few formulas for personal care, such as deodorant and tooth whitener! I love all the colorful photographs and extra information as well. The recipes are drool-worthy and not too complicated to prepare. I have my eye on the UnShepherd's Pie and Veggie Chow Mania! The recipes are vegan (although Meghan, disliking labels would never say that), but there are options for both plant and Paleo people. If you want to eat better, but really don't know how to prepare delicious, whole foods, this book is a great place to start!

The first thing that hit me was how incredibly pretty this book is, the photos, the colors, the styling it all just works so well together. Next I'm happy to report that each recipe has been lovingly created to be easy to follow and includes options to accomodate different dietary preferences. These beautiful pages are also peppered with dozens of bonuses, there's "Fun Factoids", "Undiet Health Tips", "Healthwashing Alerts" and my all time favourite "But Wait...There's More" giving links to even more information. From cold juices to warm elixirs, light appetizers to filling entrees and most importantly...desserts so nutrient packed and soul-nourishing that I could weep. As if all of this isn't enough Meghan has added a Lifestyle section...we're talking beauty care, entertaining, travel and life in general. Whatever you need she's got you covered. It couldn't be more visually stimulating, which brings you in, but what's inside can change your life. I would recommend pairing this book with Meghan's first, UnDiet, if you want a solid education and step-by-step of how to live a truly healthy life made for you. UnDiet was a huge influence for me in helping change my awareness of how food was affecting me. The UnDiet Cookbook is so adaptable to any lifestyle and FULL of delicious recipes (I've already tried some). It's the perfect support system for UnDiet - a great how-to!

It arrived as an early present and I couldn't wait to start cooking. The information in this book can set you on your way to living a healthier life. The health tips, cooking tips and healthwashing tips are found throughout this book. It's like having your very own Nutritionist feeding you the best information. As a holistic nutritionist with a bustling practice I am always looking for great foundational texts to recommend to my clients to help them begin their journey to vibrant health and wellness. Since her first book, Undiet, was published it has been one of my go-to recommendations and the companion cookbook completes the set to provide the most absolute, easy-to-implement lifestyle changes required for long lasting health. As soon as you open this book the beautiful photography, the amazing colours, and the sheer joy that radiates from every page will captivate you. You will likely also want to raid Meghan’s closet. Short review: Buy this book. Your waistline, brain, and taste buds will thank you for the rest of your days. All of the recipes in the Undiet Cookbook are gluten-free, dairy-free, and free of ingredients that have long lists of ingredients. Most of the recipes offer options to go fully vegan/vegetarian or to adapt to your needs and add more animal sources of protein. Her goal is to be inclusive and let the reader decide what works best for their body, not to tell you that in order to be healthy you MUST eat this one particular way. It’s an incredibly freeing and inclusive way to design a cookbook! Some of my favourite recipes include: • Brain-Fuel Smoothie—full of nutty, awesome goodness to start your day! • Uncoffee—Now I will admit I was never a coffee drinker, but this spicy, rich and creamy beverage will give you an energy boost without the awful caffeine crash. • Breakfast Parfection—I loved the concept of using banana, avocado, hemp, and coconut oil to make a tummy-loving, brain-fueling yogurt as the base of this parfait. • Sweet Potato Zucchini Hash Brizzles—Anything crispy and crunchy that reminds me of hash browns gets an A+ in my books! I used the grain-free option and they were delicious. If you do only one thing for your health this year, buying The Undiet Cookbook should be it. You will not regret it for a moment!

The UnDiet Cookbook explores the wealth of what real food has to offer us: real food does not have to be boring and tasteless! Meghan offers more than 130 recipes that prove the opposite. Chocolate pancakes, Basil Hemp Pesto, Creamed Mushroom Love Soup & Sweet Potato Sliders are just a few of the amazing recipes to choose from. What I love most about this book is that she doesn't preach. She offers alternatives if you eat meat and eggs. She helps you ease into this amazing world of eating.
