Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful but thin Just like the Tanya Bakes book, this is a gorgeously photographed and designed book. It has little actual content for me - but it seems the book is aimed at someone with no knowledge of veg, so I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. Buy for someone without the slightest clue in the kitchen (a recipe for oatmeal!?) or someone who is a fan of hers.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 3.5 stars - A good vegan companion The book in itself is absolutely gorgeous, it's sturdy and very eye-pleasing. I love that she takes the time to explain how and why she got into this specific lifestyle and diet and how you can also take part in it in a realistic manner. I also appreciate that she explains what tools or ingredients you should always keep in your pantry, it's really helpful. As for the recipes, so far they all taste great and are pretty easy to manage. The only thing is that since she's from the UK there's not always an equivalent for all the ingredients here in canada and the measurements are not always the same. So you do have to be careful and take this into consideration. But overall this is a very good book to begin your journey to being vegan.
