Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple and encouraging Saint memoirs are particularly intriguing as one realizes that they were human, like the rest of us. Saint Faustina was no different. She was a woman of incredible strength and discipline with an unshakeable faith. A book worth reading over a span of time to absorb all her simple truths and discoveries about the love of God. Sainthood is a process, one worth going through! Saint Faustina, pray of us!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Must Read For All! Catholic, or not. I happened upon this book quite by accident, and I'm thoroughly enjoying the encouragement and enlightment that is offered to the reader. What trials, what depair, what darkness, but her faith shared in the midst, is inspiring. Through her perseverence, Jesus honours her faith and finds favour with her. Saint Kowalska records in her Diary; His messages which are not only for her, but for this present World. I highly recommend this book to all faiths and denominations who's roots are in having faith in the Spirit of Jesus Christ. Besides, how often do you have the opportunity to read the Diary of a Saint?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Lord Comes as Mercy before He Comes as Judge From a purely spiritual point of view this is probably the most important book published in the 20th century. It is also immensely significant that the (late) Holy Father, John Paul II died on the eve of the Feast of Divine Mercy, which he himself had been instrumental in instituting in the Church, and that he had canonized St. Faustina as the first saint of the 3rd millenium! This excerpt sums it up: In the early 1900’s, Our Lord gave many great mystical graces to Sister Faustina of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy in Poland. He also gave her a mission - to tell the world that He is Mercy itself, and that before He returns as a just Judge, He is coming as a merciful Savior. Jesus called Faustina His “Secretary of Divine Mercy”, and commanded her to write everything He told her. In obedience, Faustina kept a diary, now called Divine Mercy in My Soul , and published by the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception of Stockbridge, Massachusetts. This printed diary fills over 600 pages. Over 7 times He told her that this message would prepare the world for His final coming.
