Rated 5 out of 5 by from Vegan's Don't Eat Such Weird Things, I Promise :) I bought this book because I hear people say they could never go vegetarian or vegan all of the time, and despite the fact that I tell them it's not hard once you've realized you can eat what you would on any other day, just sans meat, they still don't get it.. or they don't believe me. Having a book with pictures and recipes that look as appetizing as this one shows seems to have peaked some interest in even the most critical people in my life. I love it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun concept, some complicated recipes I love the concept, having recipes organized by argument - to show that it is in fact possible to go vegan and still have all those dishes you think you will miss. Most of these recipes look amazing, and the ones that I have tried turned out great. I find that I haven't been able to try a lot of them though because some of the recipes require too many ingredients and are a bit on the complicated side.

'Where do you get your protein', 'but I could never give up cheese', 'vegan cooking is too hard' etc this is a nice little book but for some reason it's just not one that I use all that often! That being said I really like the roasted broccoli and apple salad and the spinach artichoke soup

Really enjoyed reading this cookbook too. I felt like Kristy was right there hanging out with me in the kitchen and we're whipping up these tasty eats together :) Can't wait to get her second book!!

I like the formatting of the book and how for each animal product (ie cheese) it present substitutes but I just wish that more recipes were creative and less about just replacing animal products.
