about

Where the beings known as the "Whoun" came from, only a few know....

What they're going to do next is anyone's guess....

But in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas, where a decades old conspiracy has started to unravel, a cop and a lady doctor are about to find out. Against an enemy from their nightmares, the two will have to fight, to save the life of an unborn child who isn't human, a child that will change their world forever.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wicked Scary Page Turning Thriller I don't often read thrillers but I read this one on the recommendation of a friend, and I have to say that I loved it. The action sequences were great and kept me turning the pages well into the night, but I think it was the characters who truly made it for me. The heroes were well developed and sympathetic, so much so that I found myself mad at Charles Gramlich whenever one of them got hurt, or worse. The villians were wicked scary. This is definitely one you will want to read with all the lights on. Gramlich turned this one out like a pro, though I understand from what I've read that this book is his first paperback. I hope it won't be his last! I like the idea of discovering a new writer who I can enjoy. I recommend this book highly and hope one day to see it as an action-packed summer blockbuster.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from READ THIS BOOK!!! A thrilling dive into science fiction/horror, including a gov't conspiracy & a revelation that will certainly change the characters' world. Layers upon layers of plot (that don't get too intricate to follow.) A real page turner that I couldn't put down. Well paced, researched & written. A must read. Enjoy!
