The London Monopoly Pub Crawl

This is a chance to get to know London and visit seven very interesting pubs situated on or adjacent to the London Monopoly board layout. By visiting these pubs it allows you to visit some of London's famous landmarks, tourist attractions and some nice historic areas. All the pubs recommended in this pub crawl have been independently visited and assessed. No payment has been made to include the pub in the crawl. Other pubs on the board sequence can be visited by using one of the other four Pub Crawls in this five part series.

We promote sensible drinking. Therefore, when visiting any of these pubs or taverns please enjoy yourselves and experience the pleasure they offer. Finally, in true Monopoly style, you don't need to be a 'Rich Uncle Pennybags' to drink in or at any of these pubs.

The Walk Itself: This is a fairly long walk which visits seven pubs. It will take just over 60 minutes walking time and covers a total of about 3.0 miles in distance. This is a central London circular walking tour starting from Regent Street and encompassing Marlborough Street, Bond Street, Whitehall, Northumberland Avenue, Leicester Square and finally finishing in Oxford Street. The crawl takes you through or past some of Londons upmarket clothing retailers, Royal palaces, parks and squares, plus some famous buildings and many of Londons popular tourist spots.

All the pubs visited offer a good beer selection and serve food.Children are allowed in all the pubs during daytime hours, so this crawl is family friendly.

All pubs are accessible for wheelchair users if they only require using the ground floor bar and dining facilities.

This is a walk for Weekdays and Saturdays only, due to the pub on Bond Street being closed on Sundays.

The Monopoly itinerary includes all three of the Green squares (Regent Street, Oxford Street and Bond Street) located on side four of the board. Also visited are Leicester Square (a Yellow) on side three and Whitehall, Northumberland Avenue (the Purples) and Marlborough Street (an Orange square) all on side two.

Some of the pubs are close together so in between pub visits its worth taking the time to explore the nearby attractions that have been identified.
