Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to follow with great tasting recipes I bought this ~2 months ago and it is great. The layout is fantastic with recipes grouped into three categories: 1) Those with little cooking experience 2) Those with some cooking experience 3) Those who love to cook. Many of the recipes are extremely tasty and easy to make.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Compelling sports story I'm not a triathlete but I stayed up most of the night to read this book at one sitting. Fitzgerald brings the reader right into the physique and psyche of Dave Scott and Mark Allen, interspersing cutting edge exercise science with a captivating retelling of one of the greatest races ever. A great choice, not just for triathletes and endurance athletes, but for any sports fan.

From how to determine your optimum weight, to improving your diet and training around it, to controlling your appetite and making your own fuel—it's all in this book.” — Bike Radar “The mysteries of weight and its relationship to performance are unlocked in Matt Fitzgerald’s Racing Weight. If you've got a basic handle on both training and nutrition, this book offers the means to improve both your diet and athletic performance.” — Daily Peloton “Fitzgerald is going to go down as one of the most competent and prolific authors of books for serious runners covering just about every legitimate aspect of the all-important runner's lifestyle.” — Letsrun.com “It’s not too hard to convince cyclists that they can improve their performance if they drop their weight to an optimum level.
