Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Perfect Perfect! Some series end in a horrible disappointment but this was so satisfying and glorious!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I loved this! This series has been a great read. I think the only long read in this series would have been the third book however, this last book was by far my favorite. The way Lauren ended the book was amazing especially the way she tied the characters life throughout the series together was extremely clever. Although the reader doesn't know the ending of the 2 lovers. The way she ended it made the series complete

Rated 3 out of 5 by from good read (spoiler don't read if you don't want to be spoiled) it was a good book, but wasn't satisfied with the ending, i mean they both went through SO MUCH but it just disappeared as if it never happened, i mean yeah they end up together in the end but they don't remember their friends or all the events that happened. Could you ever manage to watch someone you considered a close friend and loved them dearly but watch them forget about your existence? Or all the life or death situations ya'll been through and they forget it? I don't know i feel like the author should've made an ending that has nothing to do with memory loss.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great story I love the ending to this, I think it's a beautiful love story which I'm a sucker for.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from End of an Era This series is completed. Again another beautiful cover that grabs your attention. I'm glad this series is over because the first 2 books were great, but the last 2 were very difficult for me to finish. I honestly just did not enjoy the 'twist' of this novel.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Meh An okay conclusion but the series got slower as it went on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good book Good conclusion to the series. I didn't expect what Luce really was/is. Series all wrapped up nice. #plumreview

Rated 2 out of 5 by from What you'd expect The ending is pretty much what you would expect from the series. It felt rather drawn out for being so obvious. Through out the series Luce has struck me as naïve and spoiled, doing what she wants when she wants without thinking of the effects on others. This really rings true to form in this book. If you've read the rest of the series you may as well make it to the end, if you haven't I may not bother.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great series! Really enjoyed the series, original story. Worth buying and reading.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Rapture (Fallen #4) by Lauren Kate Fallen books are my guilty pleasure and I can't help and say I am so glad this books didn't suck. It so didn't! I was expecting this whole boring story that would make me fall asleep. Sure, there were some less interesting parts. I struggled through the first half but then it quickly picked up and things were starting to make sense. We learn more about Lucinda's connection with Lucifer,Daniel and Luce remain (too) cute and Cam is still a flawless God(pardon fallen angel) even though he didn't have as many scenes as I hoped he would have. We also see the almighty G.O.D. in flesh or in spirit, whatever you prefer. If you are worried that your favorite character might die,I can tell you that some people did actually die

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No Thank You ** spoiler alert ** I am disappointed and angry that I wasted so much time on this series. Luce is an Angel? Lucifer was in love with her? They get off scout free to relive their lives and everything Luce touches is gold and perfection and everyone loves her. No character development, no actual plot, unrealistic dialogue and I had to paid 40 cents because it was overdue. Worst. Series. Ever.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK ending Feels like everything wrapped up nicely in the end. Although I enjoyed series less and less as it progressed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic A perfect ending to the series where no loose strings or pieces were left unattended to. All my burning questions were answered in a masterful story that left me crying at the end. Beautiful book and amazing series that will forever hold a place in my heart.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PERFECT ENDING The perfect ending to a perfect series. Not what I expected was going to happen, but it outperformed my expectations in every way imaginable. Absolutely could NOT put it down. Concludes the series perfectly, although I do wish the series were not over! Amazing novel

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great ending! Lots of action in this one. I’m glad to say they finally have a mission. To stop Lucifer from erasing mankind and the world as we know it? Sign me up! How I wished these novels had Lucifer as the villain from the very beginning. It would make a lot more sense. Instead there was a disconnect with Sophia and the Elders and not to mention the Scale. So annoying how determined Luce was to find out what her past life was. How no one could tell her?? Yet she wouldn’t get angry at anyone? Luce seemed so emotionless (minus her nausating love for Daniel at times) that I kind of wanted to shake her! Some dialogue made me roll my eyes and the amount of nauseating love scenes made me want to laugh, but I usually skipped those scenes and went onto the better ones. What can I say? This book redeemed the entire series for me. It was truly a page turner and kept me at the edge of my seat. I loved how there was finally an overall goal in the entire novel and we welcome all the secondary characters in all their glory. The ending is what really made me enjoy it. FINALLY! The history of the angels, the questions all answered, an ending that made me whoop for joy. Action, suspense, mystery and romance all rolled into one Rapture made me want to pick up more angel themed books!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect Ending!  The Fallen series always surprises me. I never can tell if the book will end up good or bad, but I kind of had it in me that the final novel would end up fantastic.    DANIEL, DANIEL, DANIEL! OMG. Daniel is one SUPER-hottie that makes me fall head over heels!   Lauren Kate has definitely created that total different atmosphere between Luce and Daniel and I just loved everything about their romance.    The book ended up boring sometimes, but I definitely wanted to hear the ending, but that was the one perfect thing. <3

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rapture Loved it! But Miles & Shelby? Did not see that coming! Luce getting wings and finding out that Lucifer had been the one who created love? For Luce? Dang. This series gives a wicked spin on the whole religion thing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 4 books was not enough. I applaud you, Lauren Kate, for your wonderful writing! Four books was not enough! I'd love to learn more about Luce and Daniels' lives moving forward. But, nonetheless, still an amazing four books and a wonderful ending. This series is definitely in my top 3 of must reads!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from expectations not met... some parts were great and others just dragged. mainly the first 1/4 of the book was dull. the author just put too much detail and it did not really mean much. it does pick up a lot in the middle and towards the end. a fitting conclusion to the series. very cliche and predictable. the author gives you hints along the way through the last books who is this mysterious angel who could tip the balance of heaven and hell. sorry to see some characters go. one was my fave and the other the author never even mentioned her at the end the book. still think the first novel was the best. honestly, kate could've just finished the series in 3 books instead of dragging it out to 4. i think we could've eliminated book 2 and combined it with 3 and 4. but ultimately, a nice ending to a series it is all you wanted for the characters

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect Ending The beginning of through the middle of the book was pretty predictable; they need to complete tasks to resolve their problem. But the ending was terrific! I love how it ties back to Fallen & Torment. I felt the ending was perfect

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Sad Perfect Ending. I think that Rapture was the best book out of the whole series. The plot was just amazing, I loved all the detail and the new adventure. It was just a little tiny bit slow in the start then it got really good. The ending itself was just perfect but so sad at the same time. Amazing ending to the series.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from it sucked the ending when i read the first one it was the best but then the 2 soso and the 3rd i like so the fourth i was expecting something good but i thought this kinda has a twist like twilight like 2 boys liking her and so on but i didnt like it a waist of money

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dull Overall, it was an okay book . But honestly, there was a LOT I didn't like a lot of it . Whenever Luce or Daniel was talking aobut their love, I found it repetitive, cheesy, and boring . I found myself rolling my eyes to their stupid love . -Spoilers- I don't know why, but I just didn't want Luce to end up with Daniel . I ACTUALLY would've preferred Luce to be with Cam or Lucifer . The fact that Luce gave up being an angel just to have a mortal life with Daniel is just... Stupid . I would've found an alternative . Also, the transition from Luce thinking she was some stupid mortal to her being one of the highest and most powerful angels happened so fast it was ridiculous . Daniel knew the whole time she was an angel and never told her . It's weird but I actually felt really bad for Lucifer ... How can a man seriously go for a woman over power, when he could have both ? Come on, Daniel . I honestly don't recommend reading this series . It's sort of a waste of time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fantastic Ending Okay I know that I previously said I didn't really enjoy reading this series, but I found the ending absolutely phenomenal. Yeah, the fact that she turned out to be "one" too was really obvious, I mean I guessed it from book two. But I really liked the character of Dee and I liked how depressing it was at times. I'm not emo or like really dark books or whatever, but I just found most of the series too neutral. Not happy but not sad and VERY predictable. When some people in this book died, I did cry. I like it when a book can bring out emotions like that. But it was the very ending of this book that really impressed me. I couldn't believe what they both had to give up! And the twist involving Lucifer, brilliant!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Happy to see the series end... I remember when I first discovered the “Fallen” series and I was really excited for it. I thought it was such a neat idea…I was in love with the reform school and the gothic/eerie setting of Sword & Cross. What I initially loved about the series was removed after the first book…no more reform school, no more gothic setting. With each additional book, the series got worse and worse, with the final “Rapture” probably the worst of all. I never skim read, but with this one I just HAD to. Nothing happened. It was constant descriptions and boring history lessons. It seemed like there were always “plans for plans”, and so much preparation and traveling…it was so boring. I kept waiting for the excitement but all I got was more exhausting history and even bible talk. When I say nothing happened, that includes Daniel and Luce’s relationship. They had no energy and Luce just went along with everything Daniel said. She was trying to discover their love by interpreting their past lives….yet she really never doubted their love. She never questioned Daniel or fought him, their relationship was too perfect. If Luce ever had any doubts Daniel would easily re-assure her. There were zero conflicts. I gave this 1 star because it was the ultimate let-down of let-downs. I made myself finish this book because I was there from the start of the series, so I wanted to see its end. I didn’t want to throw it away knowing that I’d been with the series for years. I needed to give it a final chance. On a more positive note, I will say that I didn’t see the ending happening like that. I liked finally discovering how Luce and Daniel truly met and it was neat to learn Luce’s REAL history. Also, I thought Luce & Daniel’s choice at the end was the perfect way to conclude their story. I loved that whole idea; it put a smile on my face. Sadly, “Rapture” was NOT an effortless read. I had to physically pull myself through it…and for that reason I can say that I’m happy this series is done. RIP. Wingspeed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Irresistibly romantic, heartbreakingly dramatic, and in your face full of action and suspense *Copy provided by publisher for review* "First there was silence - In the space between Heaven and the Fall, deep in the unknowable distance, there was a moment when the glorious hum of Heaven disappeared and was replaced by silence so profound that Daniel's soul strained to make out any noise." -Quote from Rapture by Lauren Kate First and foremost, Rapture by Lauren Kate was - by far - the best in the Fallen series. Admittedly, I've had quite a few ups and downs with this series, all happening during the releases of Torment, Passion, and Fallen in Love (the last two being my least favorites). With that said, I can honestly say that I wasn't quite sure whether or not I wanted to make the effort to complete the series. After being let down quite a bit, I almost gave up hope. Luckily, a little birdy nudged me into reading it and after coming face to face with the series' conclusion, I'm glad I did! It's been years since I first fell in love with Fallen, and reading the end of Luce and Daniel's wonderfully dramatic life in the words of Lauren Kate was almost heartbreaking. I really didn't want to let go of this duo. Needless to say though, Lauren Kate didn't fail to completely hook me in instantly with a completely captivating and emotionally driven prologue. In Rapture by Lauren Kate, everything for Luce and Daniel turn into a hectic race against time, and with that I noticed how much both Luce and Daniel had matured from our first meet in Fallen. "Luce was soaring across darkness, deep in the drug-like tunnel of another flight. She was weightless as the wind." -Quote from Rapture by Lauren Kate Irresistibly romantic, heartbreakingly dramatic, and in your face full of action and suspense, Lauren Kate did not disappoint me in the least with her conclusion to her bestselling Fallen series. Without giving too much away to readers who have yet to read Rapture or start the Fallen series, Lauren Kate is a great author who knows how to hook you in immediately and pull you into her world. New readers will be pleased to find that Lauren's characters are easy to relate to and fun to read!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A better than perfect finish! I died and came back to life when I read this book. It is soooooooo AMAZING!!! There couldn't have been a better ending to the series. I loved the tale of Luce and Daniel and Rapture couldn't have ended it any better for me. This book is full with twists and surprises, not the kind that disappoint the reader either, the kind that keep you reading.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Surprisingly Strong Finish to the Fallen Series... I've had a shaky relationship with the Fallen series in the past, but after reading Passion last year, it renewed my faith and left me anticipating the final book. After finally beginning to get some answers in the third book, and seeing the depth of the Luce and Daniel's long history together, Rapture builds off its momentum and continues full force to the finish! I was really proud of Luce in this novel. She has grown so much over the course of this series, from a clueless and lovesick teenage girl to a young woman fighting for what she believes in, who doesn't shy away from potentially dangerous situations. She will always be comforted by the knowledge that Daniel is by her side, but I was glad to see she wasn't so dependent on him to do everything for her this time around. With Lucifer's plans to erase the past and begin everything anew, there was too much at stake for Luce to be doubting any of Daniel's intentions, like she had in the previous novels. Daniel is just as sweet and overprotective as ever before in Rapture. His character may have frustrated me in the past with all his secrets, but I finally understood why he's always had to keep so silent, waiting for Luce to remember her past lives and the details of the curse on her own. And while I know this has always been Luce and Daniel's timeless love story, I did miss seeing Cam as he didn't appear as often in the storyline this time around. Since the very first book, Cam has always had a magnetic personality which lured me in right away, and there was something just so compelling about the way you could never tell if he was a friend or foe. Rapture made me do something that I never imagined a book in the Fallen series could do: it brought me to tears. When I finished reading the novel, I had no idea if I was crying happy or sad tears before a state of emotional numbness eventually settled over me. It's one of those bittersweet endings that resonates in your head for days... Are you sure you're ready for the epic conclusion to the Fallen series?
