about

From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Elisabeth Naughton comes a new story in her Eternal Guardians series…

Ari--Once an Eternal Guardian, now he's nothing but a rogue mercenary with one singular focus: revenge. His guardian brothers all think he’s dead, but he is very much alive in the human realm, chipping away at Zeus’s Sirens every chance he can, reveling in his brutality and anonymity. Until, that is, he abducts the wrong female and his identity is finally exposed. It will take more than the Eternal Guardians, more even than the gods to rein Ari in after everything he’s done. It may just take the courage of one woman willing to stand up to a warrior who’s become a savage.

**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it’s an introduction to an author’s world.  And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you'll enjoy each one as much as we do.**

Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from "Ravaged" by Elisabeth Naughton. Book 7.5 in the Eternal Guardians series. I read this novella in March 2016. This was my review. LOVED LOVED LOVED this novella! What a great addition to the series. Ari and Daphne are a couple I want to read more about after reading this! You can read this as a stand alone but is very much more enjoyed if you read the series. (You will understand the impact of the ending much more.) Ari is an ex-Guardian keeping himself in isolation from his son and his brother-guardians because he's just to dangerous to be around. Daphne is a nymph trying to become a Siren, Zeus's and Athena's elite female fighting force. She will become a Siren if she can complete one mission from Zeus....find out what special mark a crazy, insane ex-guardian has, and then kill him. Do whatever it takes; even seduce him. But Ari is known for his hatred of Sirens so how is she even supposed to get close to him? Aaagghh! I can't say much more without giving away spoilers about the story! Excellent chemistry between Ari and Daphne. Even though this story is novella length, a lot of information is given into their backgrounds to understand the emotional issues each has to deal with. The ending of this novella is a cliffhanger...of sorts....and very emotional. My thoughts pulled in two different directions; happy because Ari and Daphne get a happily ever after and sad because of what happens to a character from the series. I cannot wait to read the next installment in this series! LOVED IT!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Series I can always tell how much I missed the Argonauts, as soon as I pick up one of their books. This is book #7.5 in the series, and as it was just a novella, for me, it was over too quickly.. however.. it did bring up some good intrigue that I hope will be resolved in the next story. I believe I first met Ari, in Nick's book, Twisted, and I am glad he got a story of his own. He, like all the Argonauts, are strong leads, who need a confident match. Daphne was a good mate for him. I can't wait to see whose story is next. I say this with every addition to this series... if haven't read about these Eternal Guardians.. You really should!!!
