Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reading Themes and Skills There are so many good readings in this book. The readings lead to personal discussions and writing. I loved the story about the War Hero (a dog), which made me remember my grandfather that was in World War Second. The stories are long enough to get you involved, but not so that you spend all night on them. We used the book in my reading class and everybody loved it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic book I loved Reading Themes and Skills. We used the book in my Intermediate Reading course. There are so many great passages. I really liked the one about the Amish and the one about Halloween tradiciones. The exercises are tough, but you learn a lot. If you want learn vocabulary, this is book for you.
