A New York Times Bestseller!

From Colleen Houck, New York Times bestselling author of The Tiger’s Curse, comes an epic Egyptian-inspired adventure about two star-crossed teens who must battle mythical forces and ancient curses on a journey with more twists and turns than the Nile itself!

When seventeen-year-old Lilliana Young enters the Metropolitan Museum of Art one morning during spring break, the last thing she expects to find is a live Egyptian prince with godlike powers, who has been reawakened after a thousand years of mummification.
And she really can’t imagine being chosen to aid him in an epic quest that will lead them across the globe.
But fate has taken hold of Lily, and she, along with her sun prince, Amon, must travel to the Valley of the Kings, raise his brothers, and stop an evil, shape-shifting god named Seth from taking over the world.

And don't miss new adventures with Lily in the rest of the Reawakened series: Recreated and Reunited!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ok It was okay but the first one was way better.. this was kind of a let down.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent, Enjoyable Read but was expecting Way More!! So first thing, I do dig the cover. The colours are elegant, and the writing is bold. However; I wish the eye on the cover looked more Egyptian Hieroglyphic, or Eye Of Horus, or even the colour of Amon's eyes. I will say the majority of this novel was very good. There was a bunch of action, travel, a quest to save the world. However, Lily, she really was a main character that I had a very hard time relating to. She does have a bit of character growth by the end of the first novel, but I'm not sure it's enough for me to really become invested in her as as protagonist. Lily does however speak her mind and that is something I can get behind. A lot of this story though is her feelings for Amon and worrying that he doesn't like her back or want her. And that I can understand from both points of views; but it was a lot of the writing and at times it just felt like; okay write about something else going on please! I have loved Ancient Egyptian Mythology and Culture since first learning about it in Grade 5. I am obsessed and I think honestly because of that no novel is going to live up the standards that are in my head. I think this novel had a great plot outline, and the action was packed and full of crazy things happening. I was just expecting more. I loved the dynamics between Amon and his brothers. I wish there would have been more of that. Especially towards the very end of the novel; and it was like okay they have already been taken care of and we didn't even get to say goodbye. Anubis is my homeboy, I'm so glad he was within the pages of this novel. I will continue on with this series; it won't be anything I'm running to go out and buy but eventually I would like to know what happens with the brothers and their bond.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Boring Too much emphasis on how goo goo gaga she was with the boy. Is this adventure or a romance novel? Everything was about his chest and how much she wanted to kiss him.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun Egyptian Mythology I really enjoyed this! Fun way to get to know the Egyptian mythology a little better. Very well written. Interesting characters, good action scenes. My children (14, 16 and 18) quite enjoyed it too!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great if you like Twilght/Supernatural Romances. The beginning was a lot of fun and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It sort of lost me once it actually got into the actual story line. It just wasn't my thing. However it was very well written and I'd definitely recommend it to established fans of Colleen Houck, as well as those who enjoy supernatural romances.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Yet Another Beautiful Mythological Novel Like her other Tiger's Curse Series, Houck has written another mythological story, this time with Egyptian Princes. Set in New York City, the main female character is an ordinary girl who comes across a living mummy who she eventually follows on a quest to free his brothers from their mummified state and save Earth from destruction against an evil Egyptian god named Seth. Similar to the Tiger's Series, you are taken through an array of obstacles, twists and turns, and the appearance of mythological creatures of all kinds. If you enjoyed her other series then you will definitely enjoy this one too. I found that the story took a little while to get up and running and I was wondering when the adventures were going to begin but I was not disappointed once the story picked up and you were taken on a whirlwind of emotions with the characters and through time and space in the past, as well as transporting to different continents. I'm looking forward to the second novel in the series and I can't wait to see what's next in store in this tale of star-crossed lovers born centuries apart.
