Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Must Read!!! As soon as I saw Stephen King's name on the front cover extolling this book, my curiosity was piqued. And I was not disappointed. Benjamin Percy's post-9/11 novel about a divided world of humans and lycans serves as a metaphor for society's issues dealing with minority rights, paranoia and terrorism. The book is long but the characters are well-written, the landscapes are vivid and the realistic overtures mirror our present fears as featured on the nightly news. Cannot wait to read more stuff from this author. After all, Stephen King is rarely wrong. 'Red Moon' is one of the best fiction books I have read in a long time. Read it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Esquire was right.. I enjoy this book very much and it has my most favorite monster of all in it. The back story is so interesting and intriguing that u get engross in the book. The story has a serious terrorist theme and a country which it's inhabitants are werewolves. There are two sides on the werewolves who are against the US for the US government is trying tame the werewolves with a drug that makes the werewolves more tangible to comply to the US government. The second group don't want to partake in violent protest as their so called leader Balor wants them too. The US and those who agree to the massacre of the Lycans are no better than those Lycans who follows Balor in almost destroying civilization. It's a good read and everyone would enjoy this book very much.
