My all-time favourite recipe is her hummus. So easy to make - and the flavour is wonderful. Hope you'll love it as much as our family does.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All Around Great! I first picked this book up at my local library, then I extended the renewal, and extended it again. I read it cover to cover, then I ran out and bought it. I loved the advice, and I especially loved the use of the latest "health" ingredients, coconut oil, chia, hemp seeds, flax, raw honey, whole foods. I have made broiled grapefruit with candied ginger and basil, hot grains with coconut cream, crispy baked breakfast potatoes, fudgy chocolate flax muffins, honey whole wheat bread, black bean and onion frittata with salsa fresca, vanilla date pistachio granola, chai raspberry chia seed pudding, mushroom leek goat cheese quiche, kale salad with hemp seeds & parmesan, cumin and coriander hummus, cheesy "pizza" broccoli, spaghetti with staten island special (marinara) sauce, chocolate chip oatmeal cookies. Everything turned out great, except the bread which I will try again sometime. The muffins freeze and reheat well, as does the marinara. I used her advice and used left over marinara for pizza sauce, yum. I have made the chia pudding a few times and it keeps in the fridge for a week, great for curbing sweet tooth cravings. The black bean frittata was great the next day re-headed for lunch. The kids and I made the oatmeal cookies together, because the dough has to be frozen first, I gave them tasting bowls of chocolate chips and coconut while we baked. I love having the frozen cookie dough on hand, I've been baking 6 at a time. Love this book, a great addition to my collection. http://stayathomestacy.weebly.com/library.html
