about

When he left me, my crushed heart pained so deeply that I could no longer sleep, eat or go through a day without rivers of tears. For the first time in my life I knew what mourning felt like. That term I had used so often; and it always escaped my lips so slickly without any jagged edges. I had, up this point, never realized its profound meaning. When I met "John" and our love blossomed so unexpectedly into stunningly beautiful perfection, I comprehended, also for the first time, the true meaning of the little word "love" in its purest, undiluted form. Heaven on Earth is such a common phrase in poetry and song, but it really existed for me, when that one man entered my life. It was not by accident that the two of us met. I know flawlessness can only come from one source: It was God-sent. I also understood the deeper meaning of what flawlessness entailed. It didn't mean that we never fought or felt the sting of jealousy. We lived on Earth, after all. How can I describe it? Love conquered all obstacles. It was endless and synchronized, just like a wedding ring. You put your finger into its center and go around and around. Before long, you don't remember where it began and where it ends. Love is overpowering. After John left, I began writing down all my thoughts; bolstered and ghostwritten by frayed emotions, brilliant memories, and stabbing impressions. These are my boiling recollections of what every-day love and happiness can accomplish in someone's heart in less than one decade. Far from completed, this book holds merely eclectic snippets that were collected and cobbled together from many different angles. By themselves, none of these snippets stand out as extraordinary but are merely pictures in a normal album. To me, they are an epic of an unforgettable love story.
