John wainwright, indicted in Worcester County, Jan uary, 1905, for the murder Of Ada E. Lindley, at Worcester, Dec. 4, 1904. He was arraigned Jan. 27, 1905, and pleaded not guilty. John R. Thayer, Esq., and J. H. Meagher, Esq., were assigned by the court as counsel for the defend ant. In June, 1905, the defendant was tried by a jury before Sherman, J. The result was a verdict of guilty of murder in the second degree. The defendant has not yet been sentenced. The case was in charge of District Attor ney George S. Taft.
