By far the best book of this type I have read !This book gives the reader a great understanding of the issues that led to the religious conflicts in Newfoundland. It is highly informative yet very entertaining. The huge amount historical information is given in such a way the reader feels that they are reading a novel . I highly recommend this book . Very easy to read and very hard to put down!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent read! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I was unaware of the dramatic history of Newfoundland, until reading Riots and Religion. The author keeps the information accurate and entertaining. I found it hard to put down :) I highly recommend it.
