about

He's the porn world's Everyman. Blessed with an enormous "talent" yet average looks, he's starred in more than 1,700 adult films, directed 250 of them, and over the last twenty years has become porn's biggest ambassador to the mainstream. He's appeared in 60 regular films, 14 music videos, and VH1's Surreal Life, starred in the critically acclaimed Porn star (a movie about his life), and in Being Ron Jeremy (a take off on Being John Malkovich), co-starring Andy Dick. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. . . .

Ron Jeremy is a born storyteller (funny, considering he doesn't do a lot of talking in his films). He knows where all the bodies are buried, and in this outrageous autobiography he not only shows you the grave but also gives you the back story on the tombstone. Get ready for Ron Jeremy—a scandalously entertaining deep insider's view of the porn industry and its emergence into popular culture, and a delectable self-portrait of the amazingly endowed Everyman every man wanted to be.

Ron Jeremy is an internationally acclaimed actor, stand-up comedian, classically trained pianist, accred-ited special education teacher, and renowned college lecturer. In his spare time, he's also starred in roughly two thousand adult films, including award-winning performances inSuzie SuperstarandAll the Way In!He lives in California.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Humourous and Titilating! I found this book to be a wonderfully entertaining read. I blindly walked into the bookstore not sure of what I was looking for and walked out with this book describing the life of Ron Jeremy; which I must say has been one hell of a ride. I found this book to be very enlightening, educating and downright entertaining. Ron "The Hedgehog" Jeremy is one smart business man in my opinion; aspiring hope to his gender. He has marketed himself into a household name despite the roadblocks that often inhibit each of us in our lives. I would highly recommend this book to both men and women as not only a light and easy read but as an inspirational one as well.

I have read MANY biographies in the past but none has ever made me read it four times, and I am planning on reading it again, The paperback version has an extra chapter in it. I did not know this until I got to the extra chapter.....I totally give this two thumbs up!! Go buy your copy today!!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The Rise and Fall of the Hedge Hog! A fun read into the life of a hardworking porn actor Ron Jeremy and his insights into the huge world of adult entertainment. Everyone watches but no one will ever admit it. But below the gleen of the sleazy parts, the reader feels sorry that poor Ron will go into his golden years all alone without a family or kids. A cautionary tale of an actor trying to gain acceptance by the maistream.
