about

The witch and her cat are happily flying through the sky on a broomstick when the wind picks up and blows away the witch's hat, then her bow, and then her wand!  Luckily, three helpful animals find the missing items, and all they want in return is a ride on the broom.  But is there room on the broom for so many friends?  And when disaster strikes, will they be able to save the witch from a hungry dragon?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic story and plot and photos. Recommend it for sure! LOVE this book. We read it every fall for months on a day to day basis. It's great for kids ages 4 or 5, up to 7. Perhaps a bit too mature for my 3 year old. My 8 year old still loves it. The story is awesome and the photos great. The end of teh book shows an incredible broom that my kids and I talk about forever, wishing we could have a broom like that!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic!! This is one of my daughter's favourite books. She is three and loves the silliness of the story and the rhyming makes it easy for her to remember. The illustrations are fabulous as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spectacular! This is my two-year-old's new favourite, and has been for weeks, which is saying something! The story, the rhyme, the repetition, the wonderful illustrations all contribute to great fun at storytime. This one led us to purchase all of Donaldson's others, and they're huge hits, too!
