Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ghost story I liked this book, kind of... It was soaked in sadness and at times that made it hard to read. Every single character was sad or fighting some kind of demons. I liked the spirits? ghosts? Their stories made the book interesting and kept me turning pages. I liked that the writer alternates all of the characters' points of view without it becoming confusing. All in all, not a bad read.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Book! I recently read this book and it definitely made its way to my list of favourites. The concept of the story is quite creative and Lauren was able to make it realistic. I felt like I was a part of the characters lives, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Editorial Reviews

“Oliver’s first adult novel is packed with complex, flawed characters, and she manages to turn the ghosts’ observations into a story about how people are haunted by memories. It’s like a Wes Anderson movie in book form, with ghosts.”
